Lokta paper is made from the "Lokta" tree, a plant that grows wild in the Himalayan mountains at altitudes of 1800m to 3000m, and is named after the Nepali word for the tree. Having traveled across the sea, it met Japanese paper in Rokujo, and was reborn one by one into "Rokuta" by the hands of artisans.
This Lokta paper, carefully handmade sheet by sheet, is used for the cover.
Goshuin are the seals and their impressions received at shrines and temples during a visit. In addition to collecting Goshuin, they can also be used as a travel diary, a memory album, or a record book.
