Refund policy
Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations
Note: This policy applies to orders shipped within Japan. For orders shipped internationally via WorldShopping BIZ, please refer to WorldShopping BIZ's own return and refund policy.
We are unable to accept returns or exchanges for items more than 8 days after the shipping date.
Cancellations are accepted before the item has been arranged for shipment, but we cannot accept any cancellation requests after the item has been arranged for shipment. Please note that for orders paid via convenience store payment, we cannot accept cancellations for the customer's personal reasons once payment has been completed.
Once you receive your item, please check as soon as possible for any defects or whether you have received a different item than ordered. We strive to display product images that accurately represent the actual colors of the product and ink, but please note that colors may appear differently depending on your device or display settings.
Please be aware that we cannot accept returns sent via cash-on-delivery (COD) without prior notice. For returns or exchanges, please contact us through the Return/Exchange Form and be sure to include the delivery slip corresponding to the item when returning it.
Cases Where Returns or Exchanges Are Not Accepted
We cannot accept returns or exchanges in the following cases:
- Items shipped more than 8 days ago
- Items with opened packaging (including shrink wrap), or items that have been used
- Items that have been soiled or damaged by the customer
- Items that became defective due to improper use by the customer
- Items purchased from another store or another online shop
- Items without a delivery slip (excluding subscription items)
- Exchange for a different item
Defective Items
In the rare event that you receive a defective item, or if an item is damaged or soiled due to an accident during transport, we will exchange it for a new one. Additionally, if a different item from the one ordered is delivered due to an error on our part, we will exchange it for the correct item.

We will guide you through the exchange process. Kuretake will cover the shipping costs for both the return and the replacement item.
Returns
For returns of unopened, unused items within 7 days of shipping, please contact us through the Return/Exchange Form.
For returns made for the customer's personal reasons, the customer is responsible for the full cost of the original shipping fee, the return shipping fee, and any refund processing fees. Once the returned item arrives and is inspected, we will notify you by email that the return has been completed. We will then process either a change to your credit card billing amount or a transfer to your bank account.
*Note: For credit card payments, if the return occurs after the end of the month in which the purchase was made, due to our billing cycle, a charge may first appear from your credit card company, with the refund applied in a subsequent month. For details on the exact refund date, please check with your card issuer. If you have not received your refund after that date, please contact us.
