Slightly thick Hanshi. Even with a lot of ink, it resists bleeding and tearing. It's also an easy-to-handle paper with good brush release. You don't need to worry much about ink quantity or brush speed, making it suitable for beginners writing with fewer characters.

Machine-made, slightly thick Hanshi. It has minimal bleeding and can express a moderate amount ofかすれ (kasuri/dry brush effect). It's a comfortable paper to write on with good brush release and ink absorption. It also brings out the beautiful color of the ink.
