This is an authentic brush pen with a weasel hair brush tip.
The barrel and cap are made from deer antler.
The deer antler was dyed a madder red by Akiko Miyazaki, who successfully recreated the madder dyeing technique of the Nara period by deciphering the "Engishiki," a historical document from the Heian period.
The antler is dyed seven times to achieve a translucent red color.
The deer antler dyed with Japanese madder will develop a deep, lustrous red each time you hold it!
