Description
This is a calligraphy ink with an elegant, powerful, and lustrous black color, particularly focused on its depth of blackness.
★Kurotoku's Commitment★
The secret to its elegant, powerful, and lustrous black lies in its raw materials.
Calligraphy ink is made from soot and glue. Kuretake offers many calligraphy inks that use glue as a raw material, such as the "Shogei Kuretake" series. However, "Kurotoku" achieves an elegant, powerful, and lustrous blackness by using resin instead of glue.
The resin used is of a type that is less likely to damage brushes.
Furthermore, "Kurotoku" is formulated to minimize the increase in viscosity of the calligraphy ink due to aging, resulting in excellent product stability.
With a moderate consistency and lustrous ink quality, it can be used for medium-density artworks.
There are four types in total: "Standard Density," "Medium Concentrated Ink," "Concentrated Ink," and "Super Concentrated Ink." Each type offers appropriate flow and smooth brushwork for its respective density, making it easy to write with.
Standard Density
Despite its smooth fluidity, it has an appropriate density and can be used undiluted.
Medium Density
With a moderate consistency and lustrous ink quality, it can be used for medium-density artworks.
Concentrated Ink
It has a high concentration and lustrous black color, suitable for creating profound artworks.
Super Concentrated Ink
The ultra-high concentration and lustrous black ink add variation to artworks.
It can be used undiluted or diluted.
By using optimal materials as a resin-based liquid ink for artwork, we have achieved a calligraphy ink with excellent product stability, drying properties, and suitability for mounting.
